Seminar Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) in Robotics
Concerns
Master Students in Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) Robotics
General concept
For the Seminar CSE Robotics the students work independently on a study of a selected topics in the field of Robotics and Intelligent Systems. They start with a selection of scientific papers to continue literature research. The results (e.g. state-of-the-art, methods) are evaluated with respect to predefined criteria. Then the results are summarized in a report and highlighted in an oral presentation. Topics of the Seminar are specified on an individual basis through a discussion between the student and the supervisor(s) at:
- ASL (Prof. R. Siegwart lead of Lead Specialization Robotics),
- RSL (Prof. M. Hutter),
- IDSC (Prof. M. Zeilinger),
- MSRL (Prof. B. Nelson),
- SRL (Prof. R. Katzschmann).
Ideally you select your Seminar CSE Robotics study as preparation for a semester project in the upcoming semester.
How to find a seminar study
Please select your field of interest by browsing through our list of student and research projects at ASL, RSL, IDSC, MSRL and SRL.
You may then either directly contact the Lab collaborators that are in charge of the projects of interest, or contact one of the professors directly for a general discussion about a potential Seminar CSE Robotics and students project.
